Preservation Of The Arts

This has been true since the beginning of time. Before any piece of art is created, there is the thought. The inspiration. Whether it's a caveman drawing a hunt or DaVinci painting the The Last Supper, every piece of artwork holds within itself an indelible piece of it's creator. We believe this is true for digital art as well. Imagine if the Library of Alexandria was never destroyed. Think of the immense wealth of knowledge that was lost through that one moment in history. Through the power of The Interplanetary File System (IPFS), we can ensure that no piece of artwork is ever lost or destroyed like that again. IPFS is a distributed file storage protocol that allows computers all over the globe to store and serve files as part of a giant peer-to-peer network. There is no one hub for a file stored in this way. Most NFT projects use this technology already, but they're using it to preserve new, digital artwork. What about the amazing artwork that we already have? The art that masters spent years creating and is now slowly crumbling away in the halls of museums all over the world? This is our goal. To move the amazing artwork and monuments that have shaped our world and our culture into the metaverse and therefore preserve them for all time.
